A great night was had by all those who went to the Up River Yacht Club laying up supper and congratulations to all those who collected prizes.

Amanda and Robyn got a couple of trophies for the spring and summer series races. They are currently racing for the winter series trophy but something has gone wrong and their form has dropped a bit.

After careful analysis of the dates we have deduced that Amanda’s winning streak ended at about the same time as she hooked up with her new boyfriend, Tim. Could it be that she is not thinking about the job in hand! Our spy (Robyn) tells us that Tim helps them to set up the boat, and now it’s going slower, so suspicion falls on him as the cause of the problem again. Tim also races, albeit in a different sort of boat, but all is fair in love, war and boat-racing, so we have to consider him a prime suspect for sabotage as well as interfering with a crew member due to his special access to all areas and snogging rights!
